Half Pig – $6.00/lb

When you buy a whole or half animal, the typical charge is by hanging weight. Hanging weight means the weight of the carcass after the internal organs, hair, blood and other inedible parts are removed. The hanging weight is approximately 90-100lbs. At $6.00/lb, a half pig will cost approximately $540-$600. This price includes the slaughter as well as the basic cut and wrap. If you would like smoked and sliced bacon, smoked ham and sausage there will be an additional charge of approximately $75-$150 depending on your choices. The beauty of ordering a half pig is that you get to customize your cuts. We will help you fill out the butcher cut sheet and deal directly with the butcher on your behalf when it’s time.

  • 1 x Spare Ribs
  • 1 x Tenderloin
  • 1 x Baby Back Ribs
  • 6 x Bacon
  • 4 x Boneless Ham
  • 10 x Ground Pork
  • 6 x Sausage (your choice of flavours)

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your half pig. Delivery to the Lower Mainland will be subject to a $40 delivery fee per half.
