It seems as though we are always chasing our tail in the springtime. Farming is hard y’all! We get up early and stay up late, trying to get as much extra work done when the kids are sleeping. Early mornings are for chores and moving chickens and pigs, and late nights are for paperwork and washing eggs. We are thankful for the little bit of rain we got last week, but also realize that the drought we’ve been experiencing will have major repercussions as the season goes on.
